Both the Syosset and Jericho budgets passed, Syosset by a vote of 2,290 and Jericho by a vote of 958 to 215.
In Syosset, establishment of the Capital Reserve Fund was approved by a vote of 2,183 to 930. In addition, Dr. Michael Cohen, April Neuendorf and Laura Schlesinger were elected as trustees to the Board of Education.
In Jericho, Proposition #2, which authorizes the appropriation and expenditure of $3.8 million from current funds available for security upgrades, asbestos removal and renovations, passed by a vote of 941 to 187. Incumbent Barbara Krieger and Gina Levy were elected as trustees to the Board of Education.
