A 27-year-old Great River man was killed when he crashed his vehicle in East Patchogue on Friday evening.

Suffolk County police said Justin Fonseca was driving a Toyota westbound on Sunrise Highway when his vehicle left the roadway and crashed into a concrete abutment that supports the Hospital Road overpass at 11:30 p.m.

Fonseca was pronounced dead at the scene.

Fifth Squad detectives impounded the vehicle, are continuing the investigation and ask anyone who may have witnessed or has information about the crash to call them at 631-854-8552 or call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential
