at last Thursday’s Board of Education meeting.
At the last Board of Education meeting, Regina Rule, the President of the Board of Education, was delighted to inform the public that Manhasset School Community Association has provided several gifts to the Manhasset School District. The Manhasset SCA has generously given $250,000 for a mutually agreed upon future capital project.
The second gift was gratefully acknowledged and authorized. The administration can accept a gift at a value up to $45,000 to establish an Art Gallery in the secondary School.
In addition, the Senior Frolic Committee Class of 2014 has donated a gift of landscaping and trees valued at approximately $15,000.
