In the ever-evolving prog-rock soap opera that is the world of Yes, Jon Anderson continues to be on the outs with the rest of the group while mainstays Steve Howe, Chris Squire and Alan White soldier on with Asia/Drama-era keyboardist Geoff Downes. With the departure of Yes tribute band vocalist Benoit David due to illness, Jon Davison, singer from prog-rock outfit Glass Hammer is currently fronting the group. For this tour, the quintet will be once again taking a page out of last year’s tour and performing 1972’s Close to the Edge in its entirety. The added wrinkle for this string of dates is 1971 predecessor Fragile is being played in its entirety for the first time ever as well. The encore will be a mix of the band’s greatest hits and selections off the forthcoming Heaven & Earth, which found the band working with Queen/Cars producer Roy Thomas Baker.
