Athletic Director Richard Schuab was among several employees recognized for their retirement during the district reception on June 11.
The Syosset Central School District honored retirees and 25-year employees during its annual district reception on June 11 at Syosset High School.
Members of the district introduced each retiree and delivered a warm speech about their specific contributions to the school community. Board of Education trustees handed out certificates to each recipient, thanking them for their years of dedicated service to the students of Syosset.
Retirees included Diane Ardam, Elizabeth Von Bargen, Patricia Carter, Doris Caruso, Rosemary Dikeman, Harriet Dolgon, Kathleen Dougherty, Paula Goldberg, Dr. Sharyn Goodman, Laurie Guttenberg, Denise Koegel, Kenneth Kroog, Adeline Laviani, Stephen Massaro, Wendy Misa, Lorraine Polizzo, Nancy Prisco, Irene Regina, Richard Schaub, Theodore Scholl, Phyliss Solomon, Karen Stefanidis, Joanna Talamo, Linda Wahl and Jane Laura Zirkin.
