A 63-year-old Hicksville man accused of burglary was arrested Thursday after the homeowner found him inside the house, Nassau County police said.

The 55-year-old woman returned to her Grouse Lane home in Levittown and discovered Michael Barber inside, police said. Officers responded and placed him under arrest.

Police did not say if Barber attempted to take anything.

He was charged with second-degree burglary and will be arraigned Saturday at First District Court in Hempstead.
