Lawrence Supermarket Worker Accused of Bomb Threats

A 20-year-old Manhattan woman has been arrested for allegedly calling in three bomb threats to her job at a supermarket in Lawrence, Nassau County police said.

Kristal Huff-Rivers was charged with falsely reporting an incident.

“There’s a bomb in the building, evacuate,” Huff-Rivers allegedly told Barch’s Supermarket on Lawrence Lane over the phone at 8:20 p.m. on Oct. 29, according to Fourth Squad detectives.

Police said Huff-Rivers told a coworker that she made the threat during a conversation in the break room.

She was scheduled to be arraigned Thursday at First District Court in Hempstead.
