Nassau County Legislator Judy Jacobs recently attended Syosset High School’s Gift of Life program on Tuesday, Nov. 25. The most repeated phrase of the morning was “seven from seven for seven,” which implied the focus of the program—sponsorships will be given to seven children from seven continents for seven heart operations. Syosset High School’s Interact Club has been one of several benefactors behind the important successes of this program. Jacobs said, “This is one of the most amazing, beautiful, compassionate clubs I have ever seen. It is an absolute honor to have them in our county.”
