Walking For A Cure

Weber eighth grader Adam Jackman, on right in the blue T-shirt, walked with his team at the “JDRF Walk For A Cure” in Yaphank. With the help of his family, friends and the Port Washington community he raised $17,000 to help find a cure for Type 1 Diabetes. This was the 10th anniversary of his team walking. This year the walk happened to also be the week after celebrating his bar mitzvah.
