Farmingdale School District Woodward Parkway Elementary School recently teamed up with Barnes & Noble book stores as part of the “Parents as Reading Partners” program and raised over $1,500 for their school. The fun-filled night of fundraising also included the student chorus performing a variety of songs and guest readers reading their favorite books to the students. Parents, community members, and store patrons were able to donate a percentage of their purchase to the school.
