On Wednesday, Feb. 11, from 2:30 to 4:40 p.m.,the Shelter Rock Public Library in Albertson will host a support group targeted to respond to the needs of caregivers of older persons.
The event is being held in cooperation with the Nassau County Offices for the Aging and Mental Health. Such meetings are held every month and are open to residents of Nassau County. The Feb. 11 support group will provide an opportunity for participants to share experiences and help one another. The group is led by Marguerite Dilimetin, LCSW, CASAC, Support Group Facilitator.
