A 52-year-old man was seriously injured by a hit-and-run driver while walking in his hometown of Manorville over the weekend, Suffolk County police said.
Nicholas Cerulli was walking on Country Club Drive in the Villas at Pine Hills apartment complex, when he was struck by a vehicle at 11:10 p.m. Saturday, police said.
The vehicle, which may have front end damage, fled the scene. Cerulli was taken to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center in East Patchogue, where he was admitted and treated for injuries to both his legs and his left arm.
