In keeping up-to date with safety measures to keep Manhasset children safe, the Manhasset public schools will hold a district-wide lockdown drill. The drills are scheduled to take place in each school building in the Manhasset Public School system on Friday, February 27, 2015.
Peter La Duca, a well-known expert in the field of school safety, will participate in the drills as he has done in the past and, will lead debriefing sessions with members of the administrative team as well as other school personnel following the complete of each drill.
With the ever changing times in the world, the exercise is vital to that various aspects of school safety and continues to be reviewed regularly.
