Island Trees Elementary Wins Big In Reflections Contest

Recently the Island Trees Elementary School announced the J. Fred Sparke and Michael F. Stokes winners for the 2014-15 Reflections contest. Each year, the PTA Reflections Program challenges hundreds of students to create literature, music and visual arts inspired by a specific theme. This year’s theme was “The World Would be a Better Place If…” The winners listed below were recognized and awarded for their outstanding work at our recent March PTA meeting. One second grade winner moved on to the NYS level.

Primary: Dance Choreography 

 

Second grader Isabella Digena was a winner at the county level and is moving on to the NYS level.
