Students at Syosset High School recently held its annual multicultural fair, with a virtual world tour presented at various stations designed and operated by students.
From Roman costumes, to Scottish bagpipers, the multicultural fair was filled with the sights, sounds and smells of regions both remote and familiar. The fair has been an annual tradition at the school for more than 15 years and is facilitated by the world language department.
The world language department offers courses for students in Latin, Italian, Russian, Japanese, Chinese, Spanish, French and American Sign Language.
