I am writing on behalf of the Floral Park Memorial High School Athletic Booster Club, to show our support for the Floral Park-Bellerose School District Board of Education candidates/incumbents, Laura Ferone and David Fowler. These two candidates serve on both the Floral Park-Bellerose School District and Sewanhaka Central High School District Boards of Education. They are integral members of these boards. As board members at the high school level it was through their vision and perseverance that our high school facilities have been revitalized. They have formed relationships within the community and with neighboring communities to give our students the state of the art classrooms, the safe playing fields and the upgraded performing arts programs that they deserve. At the elementary level, they have proven themselves as advocates for the children and taxpayers by making fiscally sound decisions that have helped update both the buildings and the classroom technology of both schools while still saving taxpayers money.
