The Syosset Varsity Girls golf team won the two-day Nassau County Golf Championship held at Bethpage Golf course, May 18 and 19.
This was the team’s second consecutive championship win. Liz Choi, a Syosset senior, won her individual championship for a record fourth time. Tied for runner up was Malini Rudra, an eighth grader from Syosset’s Harry B Thompson middle school.
Choi and Rudra, along with six others, qualified to represent Nassau County at the New York State Public Schools Golf championship to be held at SUNY Delhi on June 13 and 14.
