Third-graders in Janice Killelea’s class at Jackson Avenue School participated in a webinar hosted by Time for Kids. The informative and interactive webinar featured chimpanzee expert, primatologist and anthropologist Dr. Jane Goodall.
Goodall streamed live via webcam to thousands of students worldwide and spoke about the significance of her work and answered some questions that had previously been submitted.
The webinar aligned with the student’s curriculum and reinforced ELA standards as they used iPads to take notes and create a Keynote on the experience.
