Schreiber Student Wins Barnard Book Prize

Milan Sani, a junior at Schreiber High School, was awarded the Barnard Book Prize. Sani is in the National English Honors Society and is a Shakespeare Day Coordinator. Sani was named a winner of the 2015 NCTE [National Council of Teachers of English] Achievement Awards in Writing, which publicly recognizes some of the best student writers in the nation.

The Barnard Book Prize is awarded annually in high schools throughout the country in recognition of student academic achievement, demonstrated leadership, and commitment to community. The prize was presented by Dorothy Bheddah, a Barnard alum.
