Last Friday, Aug. 28, C2 Education (C2) made its debut in Roslyn. The educational center is at 1520 Old Northern Blvd. and its location makes sense as the Roslyn area is full of high-achieving students who can benefit from the instructions that C2 offers.
C2 is a nationwide network of subject tutoring, SAT, ACT, PSAT and educational support centers. It offers individualized instruction for students grades K-12.
The Roslyn location is the eighth C2 center to open on Long Island since 2008, and the company plans to increase its local presence by adding two more centers in the coming months.
“We are thrilled to serve the Roslyn, Manhasset, Glen Head, and Port Washington community with this new center,” said Chris Kuntz, the center’s director. “We know that Long Island parents demand the best for their kids, so we are excited to partner with them to achieve their student’s academic goals using C2’s proven methods.”
To celebrate the grand opening, the Roslyn location will be offering free SAT, PSAT, and ACT practice tests, along with elementary and middle school knowledge assessments, until Sept. 19.
Attending the ribbon-cutting were North Hempstead councilmembers Anna Kaplan and Peter Zuckerman , plus Roslyn Chamber of Commerce members Barbara Kaplan, Linda Robinson and Khary Pitt. C2 officials Chris Kuntz and Helen Park hosted the event.
