A 60-year-old Medford man was killed when he crashed his SUV in Ridge over the weekend.

Suffolk County police said Ronald Hunte was driving his Buick Rendezvous northbound on William Floyd Parkway when his vehicle left the roadway and crashed into trees off the right shoulder at 11 a.m. Sunday.

The victim was taken to John T. Mather Memorial Hospital in Port Jefferson, where he was pronounced dead.

Seventh Squad detectives impounded the vehicle, are continuing the investigation and ask anyone with information on this crash to call them at 631-852-8752.
