On Thursday, Oct. 29, Dr. Dan Brenner, the former superintendent of the Roslyn Public Schools, will receive the John Walter Humanitarian Award from the Community Mainstreaming Associates (CMA).
The award will be presented at the CMA’s annual fundraising gala, A Celebration of Independence: Blueprint for Success to be held on Oct. 29 at The Garden City Hotel.
Also being honored is retired U.S. Representative Carolyn McCarthy.
