Floral Park Tennis Celebrates 36 Years

This past weekend the Floral Park tennis community celebrated 36 years of multiple levels of play. Winners, runner-ups and participants in all of the sponsored tournaments gathered at the recreation building for a morning of common glory and memory sharing.

Prior to the distribution of awards, players were treated to a breakfast (catered by the Floral Park Dinner) served by staff members Mary Jane O’Malley, Sheila McKendry, Elaine Fitzmaurice and Lauren O’Grady. While enjoying the morning fair, players viewed a slide presentation that highlighted action of tournaments from this year and previous decades.
