The East Williston Village Board commended the East Williston Wildcats 12U little league team with awards for making it to the New York State Sectional Championship. Despite their 10-3 loss to Massapequa Coastal, it was the first time in East Williston history that a team entered the sectional finals.
“We sincerely congratulate the team and their coaches for a terrific season,” Village Mayor David Tanner said. “On behalf of the entire village, we’re very proud of these young boys.”
