The Port Washington Public Library is displaying an art exhibit, Unleashed: Snapshots of Dogs at the Town of North Hempstead Animal Shelter, by photographer and The Shelter Connection volunteer Maggie T. Mills. The exhibit is until Jan. 31. The exhibit is in the Martin Vogel Photography Gallery at the library. The traveling exhibit will feature portraits of dogs at the town’s Animal Shelter from past and present. The gallery is open on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from
9 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
