Free Music Class

All special needs children ages 4 years old and up are invited to join in the Music Celebration parties held by Manhasset SEPTA this January. There are two events for various ages both held at Bach2Rock Music Studios in Port Washington.
The party held on Sunday, Jan. 31, at 12 until 1:30 p.m., is for children ages 5 to 10 years old. This “Rock City” party has participants exploring musical instruments and enjoying fun music/movement games.
The second event takes place later that afternoon at 2:30 until 4 p.m., for children 9 years old and up to tweens and teens. The karaoke event is a fun sing-a-long party with participants doing a real in-studio group vocal recording with a CD to take home. Both events have more than an hour of music and singing followed by half an hour of pizza, beverages and cake in the party room.
The music parties are free to attend and are open to all special needs children from the North Shore and their families. However, space is limited to 15 participants to keep a high instructor-to-participant ratio, so registration is required. Email manhassetSEPTA@aol.com to sign up and provide the participant’s name and age.
