2nd Victim Dies in Medford Hit-and-run

A 58-year-old Lake Grove woman died over the weekend following a hit-and-run crash that left a man dead, injured two others and a driver arrested in Medford a week prior, Suffolk County police said.

Lynn May was standing next to her parked vehicle when she was hit by a Hyundai Santa Fe driven eastbound on Granny Road by 61-year-old Kathy Horan of Medford on Friday, Feb. 19.

Horan, who allegedly fled the scene, also struck 28-year-old Peter Quoma of Selden, and his two passengers who were standing near his parked Nissan Maxima.

Quoma, who died shortly after the crash, had hit the Lake Grove woman’s car moments before he was hit, police said.

Horan’s bail was set at $150,000 bond or $75,000 cash. She is due back in court April 4.
