Kindergarten students at all the elementary schools in the Port Washington School District recently celebrated the 100th day of school in creative fashion.
At Guggenheim Elementary School, Barbara Dermody’s students constructed a 100-piece puzzle and created self-portraits depicting themselves at 100 years old as part
of their celebration.
Next door in Deena Williams’ class, students counted to 100 while exercising.
Down the road at Daly Elementary School, students took things a step further by actually dressing up to look 100 years old.
No matter what the project, students enjoyed a variety of hands-on, fun activities while developing critical math skills.
