I write to endorse the candidacy of Nancy Comer for reelection to the library board. As a longtime member of the library foundation, I saw firsthand how effective Nancy has been in bringing funding and programming to the library. She is responsible for founding and supporting the Books for Dessert program, which has won national recognition for service to library users with disabilities. She’s been instrumental in planning facilities improvements and has played an important role in planning the new Children’s Library. Nancy has the energy, imagination and record of accomplishment in our community that are all tremendous assets to our library. I endorse her for reelection with great enthusiasm.
