Kindergartners at Burns Avenue Elementary School in the Hicksville Public School District learned about the importance of oral hygiene during a fun and educational presentation by Kristyne Jackson, a dental hygienist at The Smile Station in Levittown. Students were treated to a puppet show featuring characters from Sesame Street, who stressed the importance of brushing, flossing and regular visits to the dentist. Students also asked questions following the animated presentation. Pictured are Burns kindergartners enjoying the presentation, which featured perennial favorite Big Bird and the Cookie Monster.
