The 10th Annual Walk-A-Thon for Stem Cell Research, held at Temple Israel of Great Neck on May 15, was hosted by Hadassah, the Women’s Zionist Organization of America, and raised funds for the Hadassah Medical Organization as it strives to remain at the forefront of stem cell research. Hadassah, which covers both north and south shores, also hosted a simultaneous walk-a-thon in Long Beach.
