Schreiber High School’s seniors will have their graduation ceremony on Thursday, June 23 and then will celebrate at Gambol 2016 on Friday, June 24th. The Gambol 2016 committee has planned a spectacular evening, from an exciting red carpet event to a beautifully transformed Castle Gould, it will be a night to remember for all.
Sixty-four years ago, Port Washington parents realized the importance of celebrating their children’s high school graduation. Only possible with the support of family and community, Gambol provides a safe and secure environment in which to do so, right here in town. It is a magical night full of family, friends, celebration and memories to treasure forever! Not many communities can boast of such a wonderful history for their senior prom. It is as unique and special as Port Washington itself.
The annual Community Viewing will be on Friday, June 24th from 3-5 at Castle Gould at the Sands Point Preserve (there will not be a parking fee for this event) and all are welcome to see the transformation. Gambol 2016 begins promptly at 9pm as the first students step on to the Red Carpet. It’s like our own bit of Hollywood, right here in Port!
