Certificate Of Recognition

North Hempstead Town Councilman Peter Zuckerman visited Roslyn Middle School recently to present a certificate of recognition to Sidney Rothschild, an eighth grader, who was honored for winning the Prose Competition held by the Holocaust Memorial and Tolerance Center of Long Island. The theme of this year’s competition was Reflecting Back, Looking Forward, and the title of Rothschild’s entry was “Sweet Revenge,” a short story that garnered first-place honors. From left: Stacey Halpern-Rothschild, Sidney Rothschild, Peter Zuckerman and Jonathan Rothschild.
