The Massapequa School District Board of Education chose its leaders for the 2016-17 school year at its reorganization meeting on July 6. Maryanne Fisher was elected president of the five-member board and Jane Ryan was selected as vice president. Gary Baldinger will serve as secretary.
Trustee Timothy Taylor, who was reelected in May, was sworn in for another three-year term.
