While some came in to watch the Mets game, parents of the Class of 2016 came together at Green’s on Thursday night to say “Cheers” to a job well done. Chairs of this year’s Frolic event were Denise Polis, Kelly Morgano and Pam Perulli. Many hands were needed such as Clay Anderson, who was construction chair and Joanne Anderson who served as creative consultant and prop master for the fantastic Luau Under The Sea.

Polis, along with 95 parent helpers, put together the five-hour extravanganza, which was enjoyed by the Manhasset High School graduating senior Class of 2016, as well as, a few guests for their final send-off of their secondary school career. The Frolic, which takes over a year in planning, is an awesome graduation party the parents give to their graduating senior which they put together. The parents transform the Manhasset High School gym floor-to-ceiling and wall-to-wall and provide entertainment, music, dancing, games, food and surprises. It is an environment where there is no pressure, no one is excluded and everyone has fun.
More than 40 parents came out for the post-party at Green’s and a wonderful time was had by all.
