Take time today to remember those in the community who lost their lives on September 11.

Bird Walk at Mill Pond Park
Join the South Shore Audubon Society for a bird walk at Mill Pond Park from 9 to 11:30 a.m. The group will meet at the park on the north side of Merrick Road, west of the Wantagh State Parkway (Wantagh/Bellmore). Bring binoculars. Walk leaders and other birders and nature enthusiasts will be happy to share their knowledge and experience. Rain will cancel the bird walk.
