The Persian program Ma Va Shoma TV, hosted and produced by Great Neck’s Yafa Soleimani, reached a milestone last month. The program has been aired 1,000 times.

Ma Va Shoma TV is cablecast on PATV channel 20 for Optimum and channel 37 for Verizon Fios on Wednesdays at 8 p.m., Fridays at 5 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m., and also streams on www.patv.org.

Erica Bradley, PATV executive director; Shirley Ann Bruno, executive director emeritus; and PATV staff and interns were happy to celebrate this achievement with Soleimani at the TV studio at 1111 Marcus Ave. in Lake Success. PATV has proudly provided quality Persian programming, such as Ma Va Shoma TV, to the community since 1995.

“Kudos to Yafa Soleimani on her accomplishment,” said PATV personnel. “PATV looks forward to many more programs for the Persian community viewers.”
