A 37-year-old Mineola man was killed in a motorcycle crash in Roslyn Heights on Election Day.
Nassau County police said Joao Cunha was riding a Yamaha northbound on Roslyn Road when he was in collision with a vehicle that was turning into a parking lot near the Long Island Expressway shortly before 3 p.m. Tuesday.
The victim was taken to North Shore University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Homicide Squad detectives impounded the vehicles. The other driver was neither injured nor charged.
