Charles Water Karate & Fitness located in Williston Park recently offered a special fundraising program. A special five-week program cost $59, and monies went to the Cherry Lane Parent Teacher Association (PTA) of Carle Place. The PTA collected more than $1,300 for their organization.
The families who pursued this opportunity were a part of a special program. In this five-week training, the children learned character development—good attitude, good habits, self-control and good manners. The kids also learned about being street- and school-safe, the ABCs of conflict avoidance, stranger danger, personal safety and intuition.
