Plainview-Old Bethpage Central School District’s annual Career Café for middle school students was recently held at the district’s Howard B. Mattlin Middle School. The event focuses on introducing students to the diverse array of career paths available to them. Parents from the district met with small groups of students to discuss their careers—from firefighters and business professionals to those in the healthcare field—and provide the students with more information on the various career paths they might one day want to pursue.
The Career Café for the district’s middle school students and the District’s Career Days for high school students are held annually in support of the Plainview’s goal of preparing its students with the tools necessary for success in school and in the future.
