Available for adoption at North Shore Animal League America:
Lila (adoption #H209583) and her sister Lola (adoption #H209584) fell on hard times recently when their owner developed allergies and could no longer keep them. Although they’re weary of this change in their lives, they’re open to new friendships with trusted humans and would love to return to the freedom they enjoyed in a home. These stunning 11-month-old tabbies are ready for a fresh start. Would you be home for this double adoption? If so, contact DoritS@animalleague.org
How would you like to be owned by not one but two lap cats?! Not only are Tundra (adoption #R166705) and Glacier (adoption #R166706) are identical in appearance, but also in sweetness! From day one they were holding paws and watching all the new things together as they learned the lay of the land of the shelter. Now these 18-month-old boys enjoy playing with friends (when not curled up in the laps of their favorite humans). Their gentle souls make them irresistible. If they’re speaking to your heart and you’d like to take this duo home, reach out toDoritS@animalleague.org for more information.
Silly Philly (adoption #BF2632) is ready to race straight through your heart and into your home! When Philly first arrived, he was unsure of the changes in his life. Rescued locally, this 11-month- young boy had to learn who to trust, but soon overcame his trepidation and dove in with all paws for a good time with his feline friends. Now ready to find a permanent place in which to frolic, Philly is looking for a fun home with other cats and children 12+ in age who can help harness his energy for good. You won’t want to miss out on sharing your heart and home with this silly boy! Reach out toDoritS@animalleague.org for more information.
Bella (adoption # V29767) is a super sweet, 6-year-old American Pit Bull mix who loves belly rubs and sloppy kisses. A little shy at first, Bella has become a staff favorite and is one of NSALA’s office fosters (she lives in their Marketing Building!) Bella recently became an Instagram sensation when she had a visit from their national spokesperson, Beth Stern.
Even though Bella has made great friends here at the shelter, she longs for life in a home of her own with room to run and do zoomies. Bella is looking for a home with children over the age of 16. She may be shy at first but warms up quickly so a meet and greet with the whole family would be best to make sure it’s a good fit. Bella also gets along with other dogs and would love to meet any possible canine siblings as well. If you’re interested, please contact RachaelR@animalleague.org
Available for adoption at Bideawee:
ALL ADOPTION FEES ARE BEING WAIVED THIS SATURDAY, AUGUST 17!
Meet Snickers! She’s a lovely 9-month-old girl who is just as sweet as her name might suggest. Boasting a gorgeous caramel face, a chocolate coat, and a cocoa nose, her coloration was quite apt for her name too! Snickers is seeking a home as wonderful as she is.
This adorable 3-year-old lad is named Landon. He already has a fan club of volunteers as well as staff at Bideawee! Landon would flourish in a mature home where he could enjoy the finer things in life like long walks around the neighborhood and chewing on a toy next to the couch while binging Netflix with his people.
This sweet 4-year-old boy is named Manny. He’s everything that a proper gentleman should be. Gentle in mannerisms, unassuming, affectionate, charming and a wonderful listener, Manny has it all! Not to mention, his stunning looks. Manny is ready to be scooped up by the right person!
This fuzzy and handsome little fellow is named Dimples. It’s only assumed that he got his name because it’s simply impossible to resist smiling when you meet him. Full of love, Dimples has a bold and forthright style of giving affection. It’s like he’s always known you when he meets you for the first time. Adorable and fun-loving to boot, this tiny guy truly has it all!
For more information about adopting Snickers, Landon, Manny and Dimples, contact the Bideawee adoption center located at 118 Old Country Rd., Westhampton, or call 631-684-0079.
