North Shore University Hospital sent home its 1,000th coronavirus patient on Saturday, April 18.
In a clap-out ceremony North Shore University Hospital recognized its 1,000th patient discharged from the facility who had COVID-19. The patient, Young Ryu, 46, of Bayside was surrounded by a throng of doctors and nurses wishing him well.
