A rack of ribs might be messy to eat, but the taste simply overcomes it. But when a hankering for some delicious ribs strikes, where’s the best barbecue restaurant to satisfy that craving?

Long Islanders voted Smokin Al’s the Best Ribs Restaurant on Long Island in the 2020 Bethpage Best of Long Island contest!

For the most succulent ribs this side of the Northeast, look no further than Smokin Al’s in Massapequa Park. Smokin Al himself has made it his mission to serve barbecued ribs, traveling through the Southern U.S. to perfect the art of barbecuing. Their signature Specialty Baby Backs are slowly smoked over six hours and then covered in three BBQ sauces of your choice.

If St. Louis Ribs are more your speed, their St. Louie Grand Backs are smoked for seven hours until the pork is falling right off the bone. If that’s not enough, their monstrous Black Angus Beef Bones is sure to please you!

Whatever your preference, Smokin’ Al’s seeks to make sure the customers have a satisfying meal and a wonderful experience.

Smokin Al’s is located at 4847 Merrick Rd. in Massapequa Park. It can be reached at 516-799-4900 or smokinals.com
