Breweries are increasingly plentiful on Long Island, lucky for us, and they all have their own ways of concocting beers with distinct colors and flavors to provide a wide variety of choices for customers. But which one is the best craft beer brewery on Long Island?
Long Islanders voted Po’Boy Brewery the Best Craft Beer Brewery on Long Island in the 2021 Bethpage Best of Long Island contest.
Po’Boy Brewery, located in Port Jefferson Station, boasts a beautiful and cozy taproom and welcoming staff. Many have called it a pleasant and fun place to unwind and get together with friends and family. It is one of the few places in the country that is identified as a brewery and a cidery.
The brewery rotates its taps regularly so that patrons can experience a new flavor and style weekly. The Tasting Room and Sour Patch have more than 20 varieties of beer and cider to sample flights and to order pints from. Growlers can be filled and four-packs can be purchased for off-premise consumption as well.
It also offers several food options to choose from, special events and celebrations, live music on specified nights, and options of all varieties for hosting special events.
Po’Boy Brewery is located at 200 Wilson St Unit E3 in Port Jefferson Station. It can be reached at 631-828-1131 or poboybrewery.com
