Beer lovers, here’s your chance to give back by drinking your favorite local brews: More than 20 Long Island breweries are partnering with Habitat for Humanity of Long Island’s “The House Beer Built” fundraising campaign.

Habitat and participating breweries are offering $50 cards redeemable for one free drink at each establishment – a value of more than $200. The Craft Brew & Spirits Tour 2023 cards will be valid from Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2023. Habitat’s goal is to sell 1,000 cards, and all proceeds will help the organization build an affordable home for a deserving family.

“The Greenport Harbor Brewing Company is proud to be a partner in the Habitat for Humanity project of The House that Beer Built,” says Rob Vandenburgh, founder of Greenport Harbor Brewing Company. “Whether it is a young couple starting out or an established family that is trying to meet the day-to-day expenses in an economically challenging world, we believe in the strength of a local community and support any initiative that will create safe and secure housing for those who live and work here. They are our neighbors and we are happy to help them build their own success story.”

Other participants include breweries located as far west as Oceanside and east as Westhampton Beach.
