Any of These Adoptable Cats Would Be Lucky to Have You As a Pet Parent

Forget leprechauns and shamrocks…you’ll be very lucky to bring home any one of these adorable felines, all awaiting their furever home.

Cats for Adoption on Long Island

Available for adoption at the Town of Smithtown Animal Shelter

**Senior Alert** Susie Q is a Calico 10-year-old Domestic Medium Hair who arrived at the animal shelter after her owner unfortunately passed away. She loved her dad so much, and it is taking her some time to open up to new humans. While she certainly has a shy side and likes her alone time, she is very loving and sweet to people she’s comfortable with. She happily lived with two other cats in the past, so she can be adopted into a house with other feline siblings. Susie Q would do best in a patient and quiet home without any children.

If you are interested in meeting Susie, please fill out an application and/or call 631-360-7575 today!

Esme and Eagan
Esme and Eagan

**Double Adoption** After being rescued off the local streets, Esme (Adoption #BF3765) and Eagan (Adoption #BF3766) needed a little tender, loving care. They’ve enjoyed time together in a peaceful room in Bianca’s Furry Friends Feline Adoption Center, and everyone is thrilled with the quick progress they’ve made!

Formally fearful Eagan is completely open to love and attention from cats and people alike. You’ll find her cuddling in a ray of sunlight with any of her friends, but she’ll follow you for her helping of treats.

Esme has always been the more playful of the two. She’s still a bit shy around human attention which is why we’re looking for a home with children over age 12 and adults experienced in nurturing the fear from beloved felines. You’re going to be just as smitten as we are as you watch these very bonded 2-year-old sisters discover the wonders of being members of a family at last!

Montauk
Montauk

Last year, Animal League America’s team was alerted to an emergency situation where they discovered Montauk and several friends in need of help.  They’re discovering a quiet soul who takes great comfort in his like-minded feline friends. Relearning his feelings about humans has been, at times, a struggle for Montauk but each day we see him opening up a little more to the pawsabilities of a life shared with quiet, experienced humans who can offer him a consistent, predictable, and safe home.

If you have a confident cat at home who would like to share their joyful pet experience with him, Montauk may prove to be the most loyal friend. A home with no children is going to provide him the optimum environment in which he can retire comfortably. Montauk is the beginning – of a beautiful journey together.

Chanel and Dior
Chanel and Dior

**Double Adoption** Shy 9-month-olds Chanel (Adoption #H211594) and Dior (Adoption #H211595) are what’s trending in fashion for kittens this season. While they may need a little time and patience before enjoying a spotlight on the catwalk, the payoff is petting their velvety soft fur while they wait in the wings! A cat-experienced household (with kids ages 12 and older above who can contribute to the predictability of their new setting) will lead to a very fashionable future for the whole family. Invite them to your treat and play party and let the games begin.  Helpful hint: neither of them can resist the allure of feathers! If you’d like to help Chanel and Dior get runway ready, strut on over to Bianca’s Furry Friends Feline Adoption Center today!

Eggy
Eggy

Two-year-old Eggy (Adoption #CO0014) was down on his luck when his rescuer discovered him, but the promise of safety soon led to the comfort of indoor living. While this big boy needs some consoling as he acclimates to this new situation, he’s adept at stealing the hearts of everyone he encounters at Bianca’s Furry Friends Feline Adoption Center. If you’ve had cats before, you know the reward that trust brings to a sensitive soul. A quiet home (with children over the age of 10) will lead Eggy on his new path towards tranquility and the home he’s deserved for a long time.

Arroz and Frijole
Arroz and Frijole

**Double Adoption** All the way from Puerto Rico, 10-month-olds Arroz (Adoption #PR00203) and Frijole (Adoption #PR00204) go together like rice and beans! They’ve overcome the shyness they exhibited when they first arrived at North Shore Animal League America. As a matter of fact, they’re running circles around their roommates in the feather Olympics! Knowing they can meet new situations with a best friend by their side “furever” will help them settle into their first real home. Older children (age 6 and up) will ease them into family life, offering them the stability and predictability helps them flourish while also enjoying their fun energy.

Tilly and Tammy
Tilly and Tammy

**Double Adoption** Shy 8-month-old sisters Tilly (Adoption #H212144) and Tammy (Adoption #H212145) were offered the opportunity of a lifetime when their local rescuer delivered them into the shelter’s care. While the sudden changes to their lives leave them slightly skeptical, these beauties have each other for support through the transition, and would be wonderful additions to a quiet home with adopters committed to building their confidence. Children over the age of 12 will have the patience to discover how treats and playtime bolsters these felines’ confidence as well and before you know it, you’ll have two sweet sisters thanking you for completing their rescue chapter of their story!

Lover Boi
Lover Boi

Two-year-old Lover Boi’s (Adoption #CO0021) names says it all, but since he’s everyone’s favorite subject, we’ll fill you in on the details! Locally rescued by a good Samaritan, this lucky wonder wants to impress you with his dashing good looks and scintillating purrsonality. He’s quite the catch and giving out roses left and right in hopes it leads him to the happily ever after fairytales are made of. You could be the ONE for him if you hurry into Bianca’s Furry Friends Feline Adoption Center to meet him. You don’t want to miss out on a love like this!

Pia
Pia

Animal League America has given pretty 6-month-old Pia (Adoption #BF4309) time to adjust to the safety of indoor living, and time is what she’ll need to readjust to life with her true family. Because this little damsel can feel overwhelmed in busy situations, she’s seeking an experienced home with kids over the age of 12 who will provide the stability Pia needs. Time, patience, love, treats—repeat! That’s the key to success for little Pia, and the reward is having a grateful friend whose trust you’ve gained.
