Fast Food Spot Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers Plans 3 LI Locations

Raising Cane’s, a chain fast food chicken finger joint, plans to enter Long Island with three new restaurants in 2025.

The new locations will be in East Meadow at the corner of Hempstead Turnpike and Newbridge Road, Commack on Commack Road and Vanderbilt Parkway, and Hauppauge on Route 111 and Smithtown Bypass.

There are no opening dates for any of the new restaurants, according to a spokesperson for the company, but they did say that they will flip from the construction to operation phase sometime in 2025.

Raising Cane’s is known for its crispy chicken fingers, which are largely the restaurant’s only menu item, save for a side of crinkle cut fries, coleslaw, or Texas toast.

The menu includes chicken finger combos, a chicken sandwich, and a kids’ combo. There are also tailgate options for large parties.

The fast food chain, named after founder and CEO Todd Graves’ labrador retrievers, launched more than 25 years ago on campus at Louisiana State University. It now has dozens of locations across the country, but none yet in New York State, though one is planned for lower Manhattan prior to the Long Island openings.
