The Grenville Baker Boys & Girls Club’s Old-Fashioned Clam Bake returns this year on Saturday, Aug. 23 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Bailey Arboretum, which is in partnership with the club. After a hiatus, the community event is back and bigger than ever.

Attendees can look forward to a relaxing late-summer afternoon filled with fresh seafood, live music, lawn games and fun for the
whole family in support of youth development programs at the Grenville Baker Boys & Girls Club.

“We are beyond excited to bring back this treasured tradition,” said Melissa Rhodes, executive director of the club. “There is nothing quite like enjoying great food and great company in a beautiful setting, all while supporting a cause that helps our community’s children thrive. Partnering with Bailey Arboretum makes it even more special.”

“Partnering with the Grenville Baker Boys & Girls Club for this summer celebration feels like a natural fit. Just as we nurture the growth of our gardens, we are proud to help nurture the potential of young people in our community. We hope this event will mark the beginning of a cherished summer tradition at Bailey and a successful partnership with GBBGC going forward,” said Andrea Volpe, president of the Friends of Bailey Arboretum.
