Westbury Arts held its 12th annual fall gala – Starstruck – on Tuesday, Nov. 11, at Westbury Manor.  Starstruck was truly a “Gala to Remember” as the Golden Age of Hollywood theme resonated throughout the evening, according to the organization’s president, Tiffany Blair.

Westbury Arts celebrated two honorees for their significant contributions to the arts and to the community: Maria Thomas Santiago, the founder and executive director of the Home Health Aide Training Institute Inc., and Davis Orellana, the president of the Westbury Hispanic United Association.  The Westbury Arts board also paid tribute to President Julie Lyon for her decade-long service to the organization.

Westbury Arts is a non-profit organization with a robust slate of multidisciplinary programming, including art exhibitions in its gallery space at 255 Schenck Ave., live theatre performances, and an annual outdoor summer concert series.  Funds raised at the gala will support the extensive arts and cultural programs scheduled for 2026, all of which are aimed at furthering the organization’s mission to connect, educate, and inspire the community.
