For more than 20 years, North Shore High School has hosted its annual Sports Night competition, bringing together students from each grade for an evening of athletic and academic contests.

Seniors won the 2026 Sports Night competition, while students across all grade levels demonstrated team spirit and sportsmanship throughout the event.

As part of the tradition, freshmen competed dressed in green, sophomores in blue, juniors in yellow and seniors in white.

This year’s theme was holidays. Seniors represented the Fourth of July, juniors represented Valentine’s Day, sophomores represented New Year’s Eve and freshmen represented Halloween.

During the event, students competed in a series of activities, including tug of war, a scooter relay, cage volleyball, a dance competition, a balloon race and the traditional obstacle course.

School officials said the event would not be possible without the support of administrators, class advisers, faculty members and parents who helped organize the annual tradition.
